CORRECT ELECTRIC BILL FOR THE PERIOD SINCE MAR 2013 TILL AUGUST 2013.

This
is to bring in your kind notice for your information and necessary action
that, BOC/IBC F.B. Area located at
Al-Noor, Power House, Block -19, Federal B Area, Karachi has issued me
un-justified/ illogical/wrong Bill for the meter Number SS87909 Consumer Number LA-674225 Contract Number
30752230 on account of Mr. Masood Malik, installed at premises on Flat , Plot No FL-3,1st Floor, Gulshan-e-Amin Plaza, F.B.Area
Block-21, Karachi due to malfunctioning of electric meter.
In the month of November 2012 I
purchased the said premises and prior purchasing of said premises ex owner paid
the monthly electric bill on time regularly and paid different amount according
to KESC bills issued time to time. Ex occupant family consist of 6 members. If
I am billed on past average electric consumption then it is totally
illegal/illogical/violation of consumer rights.

For your consideration and review
here is my personal and professional profile, by profession I am banker and my
wife also works in bank. We leave our home at 8.00 and return to home at 6.00
or till 7.00 o’clock. Meanwhile at home no home lives because we are newly
wedded family of 02 persons, I started my married life with minimum support of
my family members as well as from my in-laws. Therefore I don’t have any
luxurious electrical appliances and gadgets. Following are the electric appliances
I have at my 2 bed 660 sqft flat (Less than 80 sq. yard plot).

Therefore I would request you to
please issue me fresh electric bill for the disputed period of Mar 2013 till
August 2013 on my actual electric units’ consumption as per record of you meter
readings available for said billing period. I had already informed KESC IBC and
billing department that they had mistakenly issued me wrong bill on monthly
average consumption of Units based on 367/month of ex-occupant of property not
on my actual electric consumption. This unfair/injustice/ illegal to issue new
property ower billed based on ex property owner electricity consumption trend.
Subsequently KESC IBS officer
requested me to just pay the bill amount because w cannot revered the issued
bill thou issued wrongly and we ordered you without considering the actual
facts and reading. If you notice my
actual consumption of units as per under mentioned chart it is. (Sep 2013 Units
99 + Oct 2013 Units 105 + Nov 2013 129 + Dec 2013 Units 163 Total Average 496
units/ 4 = 167 average monthly units. For clarification of tariff rate please

Consequently, I
would request you to please issue me fresh electric bill immediately as per my
average electric consumption trend based on since Sep 2013 till Dec 2013. It is
not possible for me to pay bogus and baseless electric bill of Rs.23,758/- for
the disputed months. In fact i am the one who performed his social /moral
obligation and responsibility and initiated written request to KESC to install
proper electric meter in replacement of malfunctioning. Anticipating proper
inquiry and issuance of correct electric bill at your earliest so I could pay
the electric bill on time. I find it very harassing and very painfull and I
completely under mental stress and suffering trauma due to wrong billing and
unauthorized collection of fund through wrong billing issued to customers.
Anticipating
prompt remedy for my painful issue.
